Are you ready to embark on an interactive puppetry workshop?

In this Storytime STEM activity, children hear the story and learn about the world and art of puppetry.

Each child will have the opportunity to make their very own puppet.

This STEAM activity focuses on concepts of engineering and art with a good old fashioned mystery to solve! Children will hear and watch the story of Growley and the Twitching Tail. They will view it on   Beyond the Beanstalk's giant storybook.
The story will be performed using different puppetry techniques that the children will later be able to try in this interactive puppet workshop.
The group will then get to meet our very own, larger than life, chimera cat puppet, Growley.

In this STEM workshop the children will have the opportunity to use different puppetry methods and different puppet styles to explore the world of puppetry. Children will be able to use the Beyond the Beanstalk's puppet theatres and play with our puppets, theatre set ups and equipment to find their favourite style. The children's imaginations can run wild with these differing puppet show ideas.

That's not all! Each child will have the opportunity to work their way around our interactive puppetry workshop and theatre circuit before making their own Growley or Gwen cat finger puppet to keep!

Before we head home we will invite each child to have their picture taken with our larger than life Growley (Muppet styled puppet) and they will get to keep their picture!
