This engaging narrative sets the stage for a hands-on exploration of forensic science, where children become active participants in solving the case. Forensic Science in Action Our workshop provides a comprehensive, hands-on experience with key forensic techniques: Fingerprints: Children will delve into the world of fingerprints, exploring the unique patterns on each individual's fingers. They’ll create their own "Beyond the Beanstalk Forensic ID Card" to showcase their newfound expertise. UV Light: Discover the power of UV light in forensics. Children will learn how UV light illuminates hidden clues invisible to the naked eye, adding an exciting layer to their investigative skills. Interactive Activities Children will engage in a series of activities that promote teamwork, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry: Evidence Gathering: Young detectives will collect and analyze evidence, learning how forensic scientists solve real-world mysteries. Deciphering Clues: Through cryptic hints and hidden messages, children will use their problem-solving skills to piece together the puzzle and solve the mystery. Tailored for All Ages The Cookie Conundrum STEM Workshop is tailored for both 3-5 and 6-12 year-olds, offering a blend of excitement and education that caters to a wide age range. This ensures that every child can participate and benefit from the activities, fostering their curiosity and critical thinking skills. Curriculum Integration Our workshop is meticulously designed to align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum.
