Discovering the Wonders of the Natural World!
Embark on an Exciting Exploration of Living Things-themed Activities and STEM Education! Are you ready to delve into the fascinating world of living organisms and their environments? Join us for an enlightening experience designed for primary school students as we explore the wonders of living things in our Living Things School Circuit!
Discover the Intricacies of Living Organisms and Their Habitats
What makes bugs so unique? How do living things interact with their environment? How can we care for and protect them? These are just some of the questions we'll explore in this engaging STEM activity. Through hands-on experiments and interactive learning, children will uncover the mysteries of living organisms and gain a deeper understanding of their importance in our ecosystem.
Hands-On Exploration and Experiments
This vibrant biology-focused circuit invites primary students to explore the incredible diversity of life on Earth through a series of interactive, sensory-rich learning experiences. Designed to support key outcomes from the Australian Curriculum, students will investigate how living things grow, change, reproduce, and survive in their environments.
Through a range of guided activities, children will:
Observe live animals and natural specimens up close
Explore the invisible structures of plants and insects using magnification tools
Investigate biological life cycles and patterns of change
Engage with fossils, bones, and classification challenges
Explore how living things respond to light, energy, and their environment
This circuit combines tactile learning, scientific inquiry, and curriculum-aligned exploration to deepen students’ understanding of life processes. Whether they’re sorting animal features, building connections across species, or modelling energy use in ecosystems, students will leave with a stronger grasp of how all living things are connected.
This circuit provides a rich, memorable learning experience that reinforces key biological concepts through hands-on investigation, observation, and creative problem-solving.
