Beyond the Beanstalk prides itself on bringing fun and engaging STEM activities that can cater for 5-12 year olds.

With educators who have collective experience working with children aged 0-18 years. Workshops are tailored to the group of children you have. Our educators have previously directed OOSH, Vacation Care and Extra Curricular Clubs and activities for 5-18 year olds.

Our OOSH and Vacation Care workshops cater to primary school aged children. Age appropriate activities are presented with flare, wonder and a little bit of imagination while incorporating STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

You just tell us the age groups within your service and we will handle the rest!

The Storytime and Stepped Up STEM workshops allow children to suspend belief and follow the adventures of our beanstalk adventurers, as they tell of different stories from beyond the beanstalk. of story telling, and video presentations, children are invited to explore our equipment and STEM activities to facilitate their own learning.

The  Sustainable STEM workshops use everyday items to demonstrate innovative ways to repurpose materials, explore energy, and support sustainable gardening. Discover practical sustainability ideas to integrate into your centre. Each workshop provides reusable resources, allowing you to continue the experiments and projects long after our visit.

 

Super-Charged STEM workshops are exclusively available for OOSH centres and present a critical thinking challenge with a strong emphasis on STEM aspects of learning. These team-based activities encourage higher-level thinking and problem-solving, fostering collaboration and independent learning. Each workshop concludes with a take-home project, allowing students to extend their exploration and deepen their understanding.
