Watch as your child’s imagination takes flight with a series of exciting activities:
Solar Robot Assembly:Â Students get hands-on as they design and construct their own solar-powered robots. This station introduces the basics of photovoltaic technology, allowing participants to understand how solar energy can be transformed into mechanical power.
Design and Engineering:Â Kids experiment with different designs and components to optimise their robots for speed and efficiency. This challenge encourages problem-solving and creativity as they learn to integrate solar cells and motors.
Solar Racing: After building their robots, students put their creations to the test in a thrilling race. This exciting event demonstrates the practical application of solar power and promotes an understanding of renewable energy’s potential.

What is Supercharged STEMÂ ?
Super-Charged STEM workshops are exclusively available for OOSH centres and present a critical thinking challenge with a strong emphasis on STEM aspects of learning. These team-based activities encourage higher-level thinking and problem-solving, fostering collaboration and independent learning. Each workshop concludes with a take-home project, allowing students to extend their exploration and deepen their understanding.
