About

Get ready to lift off with Beyond the Beanstalk’s latest STEM adventure – Hover and Out!

In this high-energy, hands-on workshop, children will work in teams to build their own rideable hovercraft and put it to the test!

After construction, the real fun begins: kids will hop aboard and ride their creations, experimenting with distance, speed, and control.

They’ll explore real-world STEM concepts like air pressure, friction, and force, all while having a blast. Through simple, engaging experiments, they’ll discover how small changes can make a big difference in how far and fast their hovercraft can glide.

🔵 Best for children aged 5–12 years

🔵 Preschool adaptations available for ages 4+

Whether it’s adjusting the design, experimenting with airflow, or tweaking their technique, every rider becomes a real-world problem solver. Perfect for primary schools, OSHC, vacation care, preschool incursions, and STEM events.
