Meet the Characters: Growley and his friends will guide children through the history of clocks, from ancient sundials to modern digital timepieces. Hands-On Learning: Experiment with Food-Powered Clocks: Children will have a blast experimenting with food to power a digital clock, learning about chemical reactions and electricity. Newton's Pendulum Wave: Discover the principles of motion and energy with a Newton's Pendulum Wave, exploring the fascinating science behind these timeless devices. Gears and Energy: Understand how gears and energy work together to keep a clock running smoothly, through interactive and engaging activities. Create Your Own Timepiece: Sand Timer Crafting: In this hands-on workshop, children will create their very own sand timer, combining art and engineering to make a functional and decorative timepiece. Educational Integration Our Growley and the Crazy Clocks Workshop supports the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum.
