Discover the Fascinating World of Clocks Storytime STEM Adventure: Interactive Storytelling: Embark on an exciting journey with Growley as he solves the mystery of Grandma's late-running clock. This captivating story will transport children into the magical world of timepieces. Meet the Characters: Growley and his friends will guide children through the history of clocks, from ancient sundials to modern digital timepieces. Hands-On Learning: Experiment with Food-Powered Clocks: Children will have a blast experimenting with food to power a digital clock, learning about chemical reactions and electricity. Newton's Pendulum Wave: Discover the principles of motion and energy with a Newton's Pendulum Wave, exploring the fascinating science behind these timeless devices. Gears and Energy: Understand how gears and energy work together to keep a clock running smoothly, through interactive and engaging activities. Create Your Own Timepiece: Sand Timer Crafting: In this hands-on workshop, children will create their very own sand timer, combining art and engineering to make a functional and decorative timepiece. Educational Integration Our Growley and the Crazy Clocks Workshop supports the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum. It provides a comprehensive approach to learning that encourages scientific inquiry, creativity, and hands-on exploration.
