Explore the distinction between living and non-living creatures as you examine the intricate details of each insect's anatomy and behaviour. Our knowledgeable guides will lead you on an unforgettable journey through the hidden wonders of the insect world, offering insights and anecdotes along the way. And don't forget to delve into the fascinating world of insect life cycles. Witness firsthand the incredible transformations that insects undergo as they progress from egg to larva to pupa to adult. It's a journey of discovery that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for these extraordinary creatures. But the fun doesn't stop there! Get creative with our bug mover activity, where each child will create and build their very own contraption to transport insects safely and efficiently. It's a hands-on experience that will spark your imagination and ingenuity and the children will get to keep to take it home. The birthday child will receive an extra special gift: their very own insect enclosure complete with two stick insects to care for and observe at home. It's the perfect memento to remember their insect-filled adventure and continue their fascination with these incredible creatures long after the party ends. Important Information Booking Note: Please advise at the time of booking if you do not wish to keep the insects, and an alternative activity will be provided. Stick Insects: These low-maintenance pets do not require a licence to keep and exhibit in NSW Care Instructions: We provide all necessary equipment to care for your insects; all you need to do is provide fresh gum leaves. Insect Care Support: If you no longer wish to care for your insects, please contact us, and we will happily look after them for the rest of their lives.
