Jurassic Deep takes children beneath the surface of prehistoric oceans to discover the incredible marine creatures that lived millions of years ago. Children explore fossils, prehistoric marine life, adaptations and changing environments while investigating how scientists use evidence to piece together the story of life in Earth’s ancient seas. Through observation, comparison and hands-on STEM investigation, children are encouraged to think like palaeontologists — asking questions, examining evidence and making connections between living things and the environments they once inhabited. Blending palaeontology, biology and earth science, Jurassic Deep gives children a fascinating look at a prehistoric world very different from the dinosaurs they usually know.
