Children explore how fossils form, what they can reveal about ancient animals and environments, and how palaeontologists use evidence to piece together the past. Through observation, comparison and scientific reasoning, children are encouraged to examine clues, ask questions and think carefully about what fossil evidence can — and cannot — tell us. Blending palaeontology, earth science and biology, Jurassic Dig turns children’s fascination with prehistoric life into a deeper investigation of evidence, change over time and the history of life on Earth.
