Solar System Shenanigans takes children on an immersive exploration of planets, the Moon and our place in space through storytelling and hands-on STEM discovery. Children compare objects in the Solar System, explore ideas connected with planetary features and space exploration, and ask questions about the worlds beyond Earth. The workshop encourages observation, comparison and scientific curiosity as children build a stronger sense of scale, place and difference across our Solar System. Blending Earth and space science with imaginative investigation, Solar System Shenanigans helps children connect familiar night-sky objects with a much bigger scientific picture.
