Welcome to The Solar System Shenanigans Storytime STEM Workshop! Are you ready to take your students on an intergalactic adventure through our Solar System? Explore the Wonders of Space Beyond the Beanstalk's Solar System Shenanigans Workshop is designed to spark curiosity about the cosmos through interactive learning. Perfect for preschool, OSHC, and primary school-aged children, this workshop aligns with the EYLF, MTOP, and Australian Curriculum, ensuring an enriching educational experience. A Galactic Journey In Solar System Shenanigans, children will explore the planets, the Moon’s phases, and other celestial objects through hands-on activities and storytelling. Our workshop includes: Moon Phase Exploration – Discover the changing shapes of the Moon and why they occur. Planetary Adventure – Learn fascinating facts about the planets and their unique features. Space Objects Discovery – Uncover the mysteries of asteroids, comets, and stars. Take-Home Solar System Project – Create a personalised space-themed project to reinforce learning beyond the workshop. Hands-On STEM Learning This engaging workshop integrates STEM concepts through storytelling and hands-on activities, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of our place in the universe.

Workshop Inclusions:

  • 1 x Workshop (approximately 60 minutes for Sustainable STEM workshops and 75 minutes for Storytime STEM workshops)

  • 1 x STEM Presenter

  • Take home STEM project OR class STEM project to keep

Workshop Requirements

  • Access to an electrical power outlet

  • Access to water tap

  • Access to tables and chairs

  • Chair for presenter

  • Ability to darken room for Glow Getters, Where the rainbow Goes, Universe Reversed and Treasure in the Sky
