Beyond the Beanstalk's- Snappy STEM welcomes you to The Mini Insectarium A Fast-Paced Exploration of Mini Beasts! Get ready for a thrilling 40-minute dive into the world of insects! The Insectarium – Snappy STEM offers an exciting, hands-on experience where children will observe, learn about, and even have the chance to hold fascinating mini beasts. Meet the Mini Beasts Students will get up close with a variety of incredible insects and mini beasts. Depending on the season and availability, they might encounter stick insects, giant cockroaches, millipedes, centipedes, spiders, or scorpions. Through guided exploration, they’ll discover the unique adaptations and important roles these creatures play in our ecosystem. STEM in Action: Exploring Habitats In this fast-paced session, children will explore what makes the perfect habitat for different insects. They’ll discuss how mini beasts survive in the wild, what they need to thrive, and why each species has a unique home. Curriculum Aligned & Engaging Designed to spark curiosity and encourage scientific thinking, this workshop aligns with the EYLF, MTOP, and Australian Curriculum, offering a dynamic and interactive way to learn about nature and STEM.
