Designed for children aged 2-5 and 5-12, this Storytime STEM workshop combines adventure, education, and creativity, taking young minds on an unforgettable journey through space. Perfectly suited for teachers and early childhood educators, our programme aligns with the EYLF, MTOP, and Australian Curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. An Out-of-This-World Adventure Explore the Universe: Beyond Our Planet: Discover what lies beyond our planet and learn about the vast universe around us. Star Constellations: Identify and name constellations in the sky, enhancing your understanding of the night sky. Celestial Illumination Concentrator: Interactive Storytelling: Join Chris, Vinnie, Cara, and Ivy on their latest adventure in The Spaceship Tree: Universe Reversed. Create a Planetarium: Learn about and create your own Celestial Illumination Concentrator (planetarium) as featured in the story, and take it home to share with your family. Hands-On Learning and Creativity STEM Activities for All Ages: Ages 2-4: Younger children will have the opportunity to make a simple projector and explore the mechanics of how it works. Ages 5-12: Older children will build a personal constellation projector, learn the mechanics behind it, and construct a geodesic dome to project their creations within the Spaceship Tree geodesic dome. Educational Integration Our Universe Reversed Workshop is carefully crafted to align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum.
