Where The Rainbow Goes

Workshop Information

Welcome to our captivating STEM workshop designed to spark wonder and curiosity in young minds aged 2-5 and 5-12! Join us on an exploration of the enchanting world of light, rainbows, and diffraction through engaging and age-appropriate activities. For our littlest scientists (2-5 years old), we've crafted an interactive journey into the magic of colours and light. From creating mesmerizing bubbles that dance with iridescence to exploring the wonders of mirrors reflecting light, every moment is an opportunity for discovery and joy. Older participants (5-12 years old) will delve into the science of light with hands-on experiments. They'll embark on the exciting task of constructing their very own spectrometer, unlocking the mysteries of the spectrum. The exploration continues as children investigate the principles of diffraction and witness the creation of vibrant rainbows. Our workshop combines education with excitement, offering a unique blend of creativity and scientific exploration. Through these activities, children not only learn about the fascinating properties of light but also cultivate essential skills in observation, experimentation, and problem-solving. Let's illuminate young minds together!
