Where do rainbows come from, and why does light create so many different colours? Where the Rainbow Goes is a colourful hands-on STEM workshop that takes children into the fascinating science of light, colour and the world we can — and sometimes can’t — see. Children explore how light behaves as it travels, changes direction and interacts with different materials, developing an understanding of concepts including reflection, refraction, colour and the visible spectrum. Through investigation, observation and scientific thinking, children are encouraged to question what they see, make predictions and discover that ordinary light is far more extraordinary than it first appears. Blending physics with playful experimentation, Where the Rainbow Goes is designed to spark curiosity and help children see light, colour and their everyday surroundings in a completely new way.
