Discover the Secret Life of Bees

In this exciting workshop, students will dive into the fascinating world of bees, discovering why these tiny creatures are nature’s ultimate super pollinators. Through interactive storytelling and hands-on exploration, children will learn how bees see the world through their unique eyes, move with precision, and communicate within their hive.

They’ll explore the intricacies of hive life, from the structure of honeycombs to the vital roles each bee plays in the colony. Students will also uncover the step-by-step process of how honey is made—from pollen collection to the final golden drop.

Hands-On Learning and Teamwork

To enhance their learning, students will take part in a bee-inspired hands-on activity they can take home. This creative project supports key STEM principles and encourages teamwork, all while fostering an appreciation for sustainability and the important role of bees in our ecosystem.

What is Storytime STEM:

Perfect for preschool, childcare, primary school (Stage 1), and OOSH settings, each session begins with an imaginative story featuring charming characters, followed by a related activity that fosters creativity and problem-solving. Most workshops includes a take-home project, allowing students to extend their learning and apply their newfound skills, with plenty of options for adapting activities to suit your centre's requirements.
