Growley and the Crazy Clocks

In this third story in the Growley Series children listen to the story of Growley and the Crazy Clocks. Like the family in the story, they wonder why the kitchen clock is always wrong. If Grandma and the children use the kitchen clock to organise their day, they are always late and they can’t figure out why. Is Growley the Chimera Cat playing with the clock?

After hearing the story, the children will explore clocks, watches and other timekeeping devices and in doing so will learn about gears and other mechanisms. They will then be invited to design, make and decorate a crazy clock to be kept at the centre for everyone to enjoy. They will also participate in making a sundial for the service and each child will take home a sundial making kit.
