Second Chance Plants
Where do plants grow?
If you could build a garden how would you build it?
Do you have to use a flower pot to plant?
We will discuss how to use and repurpose everyday household items that are no longer used for their original purpose. Do you have items that could be up-cycled?Children will work together to design an up-cycled garden and can keep the plan to display. The children will see some examples of this in the workshop. Centre will be encouraged to create their own up-cycled garden with family involvement. What recycled materials for gardens do you think you can find and use?

In this Sustainable STEM activity, children will make and take home some seed bombs that can be used for urban gardening around your local area!
