Where the Mirrors Grow
Where do mirrors come from?
Are they made use machines?
Are they hand made?
Or do they grow like a forest?
Are you ready for a new adventure beyond the beanstalk!
A story where mirrors aren't just a device to look at your reflection, these mirrors grow and grow into a forest of mirrors!
Children will hear part two of Where the Mirrors Grow and venture further into the mirror forest. This story is the follow on of part one but can also be a stand alone workshop.
Children will view themselves in a giant infinity mirror, look though a two way mirror and get to play and hypothesise with a mirror that can be manipulated. Exercising their fine motor skills and cognitive functions, they will learn about light reflection and as they explore the STEM concepts of science and maths.
Every child will make their own durable infinity mirror. This activity will require concentration, and some science and engineering to make their own mini, portable infinity mirror.
