Do you have a great imagination?

Do you like writing stories?

Would you like to see your own story made into a short animated film?
If you answered yes to these questions, you will like to enter our
Storytime STEM: Creative Writing
Competition.
​
All you need to do is write an interesting, imaginative story in no more than 2 A4 pages and send it into us at Beyond the Beanstalk.
​
If you are chosen as the winner, your story will be turned into a short animated film.
​

PRIZE
1 x short animated film of story
1 x plaque
1 x electronic format of video
*Story to be displayed on Beyond the Beanstalk's social media and website with full author credits to author.

Rules:

All entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form.

Stories must be no longer than 2 A4 pages in size 12 font, Calibri.

All stories must be an original story.
-
Stories must include children as some of the main characters.

All entries must demonstrate evidence of child authorship.

All entries must have a completed a declaration of original work.

Stories can be entered as a centre wide effort or as an individual or small groups of children.

Entries must be submitted via email to info@beyondthebeanstalk.com.au as a PDF email attachment.

Competition opens Monday 28 June 2021 and closes COB Friday 9 July 2021.

Winners will be notified via email on 23 July 2021.
Judging Criteria:

Stories will be judged on creativity and originality.
-
Stories may be about any topic but must include a STEM concept (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths).
-
Stories must include at least 1 child as a main character.
